Tired of all the deer talk? Time to recharge with some good ol' carnivore drama!

Before the streak of deer studies, we worked on species interactions, particularly in the context of large carnivores and their ecological roles.
In one study, we focused on the mesopredator release hypothesis, reviewing scientific literature to reveal trends and biases, highlighting the need for broader research beyond canids and into aquatic ecosystems and the link with invasive species.
In another, older study, we provided an overview of understudied interaction types like mutualism, commensalism, parasitism (including kleptoparasitism), and amensalism, emphasizing that while predation and competition are well-researched, understanding these other relationships is crucial for comprehending complex food web dynamics and developing effective conservation strategies.
