About me

Hey there!

I’m Bruno — born on the warm coasts of southern Italy, now lent to the wild winters of northern Sweden..

I am an ethologist, interested in different aspects of the behaviour and ecology of various mammal species, mostly cervids. More specifically, In my research i try to understand how inter-individual differences shape animals' life.

I collaborate with several research groups worldwide, exploring topics ranging from social and agonistic behaviour to antipredator strategies and animal personality, combining different methodologies both in captivity and in the wild.

I currently work as Postdoctoral fellow within the competence area in animal ecology of the department of wildlife, fish, and environmental studies at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science of Umeå.
